    England - 45
    Ireland - 11

thats when i left, as i could not take anymore of it

woe is me. but im sure we will learn from it and progress. just hope that the victory over wales didnt inflate the ego a bit.

Another massacre in Twickenham. The Wales-France match was far more entertaining.

England are now ranked no. 1 in the world after that win.

And they probably deserve to be. dont think there a team in world that could beat them in Twickernam at the moment.

Still I think some heads went down on the Irish team and thats not acceptable. Woody wouldnt have let it happen, and I hope he's fit for the next round of matches.

France could still pull off a shock (in theory anyway), so we wre still in with a hope of the champoinship.

Due to work commitments, even if it were free on the telly, I would have had to listen to the game on the radio in the van, but thats proberly just as well as I'm not a fan of blood sports!

Ireland were to England what Wales were to Ireland last time out.

i had the pleasure of watching the game with some English lads. how embarrassing. i gave up and washed some clothes instead. much more fun doing that than watching that hammering

On the plus side, this hiding seams to have deflated George Hook's big ego.

Might see a bit less jowel spit on my Tv from now on. Mr. "I am from D4, I have a huge head and i can use big words" Hook

    Its about time too

In all fairness I think on most other days it would have been alot closer. England played exceptionally well, far better then just an average game for them, while we dfended very poorly, we missed far too many tackles and they walked right through us. Good days and bad, that is the way it happens. Maybe they will have a bad day in France, after all the same team lost to us in Lansdowne not so long ago when the Grand Slam was at steak.

It was'nt the same team, no fewer than 10 of that starting 15 did'nt start on Saturday. They're that good!
Still if Ireland only loose one game this season that'll still be a good championship.

    Mike.

He only started winning matchs at the start of this year. Everybody knows that the best rugby players come from munster. Gatland only started winning matchs when he put on all of the munster and leinster players. He was going to be sacked a long time ago but he just one that one match cuz eh put on all of the munster and leinster players. Your the one who doesn't know what they are talking about. So you come back when you you know what your talking about!

so you think he got it right when he started selecting players from munster and leinster and you say he should get the sack?
no-one said alex furgeson should get the sack when he started experimenting with his 1 stricker, losing about 6 games and still top of the premier.

    what is your point??????
you go from a coach who should have won the 6 nations, losing to scotland being a bad day, to a team that gets hammered, nay, rodgered b yengland, and deservedly so because they are crap, and you say that he should have been sacked.

again, come back when you have a proper point to make, and this time, why dont you actually think about what you are writing....
