I got a new PC recently, I connected my scanner, EPSON GT-7000 Photo, to the new PC using the SCSI controller card that came with the scanner. It worked without problems on the old PC using windows 98 but windows xp says the drivers haven't being signed and even when I give it the drivers it wants, i.e. EPSCAN98 and SCSIMAP, it says that the scanner in the device manager but not turned on..... when it is on. Whats wrong??

go to epson website to see if your scanner is compatible with XP.. chances are it isn't. They may have new XP drivers for it :)
