What's the worst night on the telly? Which night inspires you to head to hte video shop as fast as possible?

I reckon it's Tuesdays myself - now that Sky is bringing another series of the particularly bad "Fear Factor" to haunt me.

Which night sucks the most? 45 votes

Where is the "All of them on RTE" option?

(I suppose if a certain games console was omitted ...)

I've seen very little TV of late, so I don't really know what nights are crap ATM.

Tuesdays without a doubt. Other nights of the week you will have something decent on, a movie, Star Trek, a match but Tuesdays absolutely nothing of interest.

Saturday night without doubt.Skydigital was ****ed by wind and rain last saturday evening so I was stuck with the terrestrials for the about 2 hours.Unbelieveable.On ITV the dreaded Pop Idol was on most of the night and if it wasnt I presume the likes of Blind Date followed it.On BBC there were nonsensical Lotto quizzes. And on RTE the grannys faveourite Winning Streak.I was so bored and the weather was 2 ****e to go anywhere so I went to sleep!

Don't suppose playing a game, going on-line or even reading (gasp!) a book crossed your mind? :)

I nominated Saturday but in truth it could have been any night, really, it sems to be beyond the ken of modern telly to provide a staple of entertaining programmes, instead its addiction TV, the boob tube for real.

I quite like a good soap, but the more episodes that they cram in a week the fewer I watch, as I know less will happen in each
prog. Then there's docu-soap, no budget/no shame telly. No to mention cooking progs which all seem to happen on the same night (Tuesday?).

Even BBC2 last refuge of the decerning viewer is'nt what it was.

At least European Football is back on next week, so I won't be on-line every bloody night!

Its deffo Saturday night. After about 9 its full of tripe! Your lucky to find a half decent film on sky digital.

Enough of the RTE bashing. RTE have some great programmes; Blizard of odd, bachelors walk, pathways to freedom, podge & rodge, custer's last stand up :D , No disco, sunday sport.

The Sci-fi channel nearly always has some anime on at 12 or so until maybe 4 am on a saturday night/sunday morning, I've got into the habit of watching/recording that, so far it's been all stuff that was previously shown on channel 4 and the likes in the past but from tonight they're going to be showing stuff that hasn't been seen before on UK TV, I think they're starting the Bubblegum Crisis series tonight, showing the same ep at 12 and repeating it at 2/3 as well afaik, haven't a clue if it's any good tho :).

    YES!
Saturday TV would be cráp all day long if it wasn't for the 60-billion hours of StarTrek.

It depends on my mood, theres always something on, but you have to search for it and if im feeling a bit anti then it does not matter whats on, i will just keep flicking.
