I was sitting at home...Bored...sick of the internet...and i decided to get out a film...I walked out to the store and picked up Swordfish on DVD...
From the very start I was confronted with superb costumes, colour and location...It is all revolving around computers...hacking mainly...I will honestly say i didnt know what to expect because I had heard ntohign about the fim in the first place but i suprised by the calibre of the actors involved...Travolta, Berry, Hugh Jackman (Wolverine from X-Men) and a few others whom i recognised but couldnt name...
This is definitely one of the best filsm i have seen in a long time...It had a good plot with plently of twists that will leave you wondering how you missed a certain action at a certain point...
The only problem i had with this film was that for €4.45 to rent this film it was only about an hour and a half in length...which to me isnt very long at all...
Other than that i had no problems and found it very enjoyable...it was rated 15...maybe 18 would have been more suitable...This is definitely worthy of being in my DVD collection and hopefully I will buy it as soon as I get the chance...
If I was to rate it I would say 8 out of 10...go rent it now is what i say...

Good plot??!?!? Hahahahahahahahah - I enjoyed the film, I won't say I didn't but it was deeply, deeply stupid. In the 'so crap it's enjoyable' category.

The ball bearing explosion scene at the start was the high point by a mile.

Pretty reasonable hour and a half of entertainment, passed a boring afternoon for me, can't really ask much more than that I suppose, but I thought I'd heard beforehand that they'd given Hale Berry a big wad of cash to get her tits out, which failed to happen, on the version I watched anyway :(.

It was an OK flick if you left your brain at the door and wanted to see Ms Berry's frontal assets.

Cracking all that encryption in 60 seconds whilst getting head?

HELOE! WOLFARENE IS TEH 1337 HA><0R!!! HE SILCES TEH COMPUTAR WIHT HSI ADAMENTEM CLAWS!!!

Enjoyable enough to the muppets who don't know any different and the ball-bearings bomb was quite entertaining if not impressive with it's wholesale carnage factor.

Quite watchable. I went to it twice in the cinema for lack of something better to do.

Thought as much, I wonder why the hell they were missing from the version I saw? When did it happen? This is confusing, maybe I slept through it.

Did any of ye actually watch the film????

It was rubbish.....i got it off my mate on dvd last night...i didnt have that high of an expectation for the film as i sat down to watch it anyway...reason being - "hollywoodisation (sp?)" of Hacking/Computing is more surrel than a H.g Wells Picture....

The quality of the actors involved did suprise me (Don Cheadle esp.) but the depth of the plot did not stir me one bit....

It lacked style (a certain J. Travolta cannot pull that off full stop)
It lacked development (one minute she has her tits out, 2 seconds later she tells him she is D.E.A.....oh the suppense is killing me)

to tell you the truth...its the first film of its nature that i nodded of in the middle...and its a short film!!!:p
