Eurosport - Political Issue or what!

    Something just dosnt make sense.

    Eurosport has been cut by NTL. The have replaced with CNBC.

    Eurosport shows

    African Nations Football,
    X-Games
    Tennis
    Football round up
    International football matches (Huge interest with the World Cup coming up)
    Tour de France (and other races)
    Winter Olympics

    I'm not going to list anymore. You get my point. Huge interest for anyone interested in sport.

    NTL have said they are removing Eurosport because (and I quote)
    “As a customer-driven organisation we simply have to offer television programming which satisfies current viewing preferences. I know that CNBC Europe will quickly attract a dedicated following across our customer base and will enhance our basic channel line up. Irish consumers have demonstrated that they are strongly interested in news-type products and a real-time financial, business and personal investment news channel will help to supplement that demand.”

    What they are basoically saying is that there are more people interested in watching Business reports (American business news at that) than watching those sporting events

    DO ME A FAVOUR!

    Now for the conspiracy theory. (And please explain to me if this is not true)

    They have taken of Eurosport, so that NTL (Americans) can feed us this far-right USA/ America No. 1 bull**** news.

    "We didnt know about Enron"
    "Lets get those Phillipines living in the jungle. There the real eveil in the world"
