USIT gone bust

    Bit of a disaster for all the college people and us under 25 folk.

    An Australian company, STA, are in the process of taking them over though so it might all be ok.

    its not good
    i've been on at least 10 filght bought through usit
    if they go they'll be missed.

    btw any one under 26 can get cheap flights from them :)

    As far as I know STA were always involved with USIT in some way. STA are good I got flights with them to Las Vegas last september when myself and my gf were in San Diego. We got the flights cheaper than anywhere on the net and that was before The girl behind the counter started talking about discount if I had a usit card (which I didn't) but she know a couple of bucks off anyway. (its amazing what an Irish accent can get you :)). I saw some adds in the metro this morning for weekend breaks with STA with the likes of Paris for about STR£100 for return flights and accomadation. Also STA have a huge network. Maybe its a bad thing maybe its a good thing that USIT are been taken over we'll have to wait and see.
