    It looks O.K. to me.

We should be able to take full points from the home games
The away games in the east (Georgia, Albania, Russia) could be a bit tricky, with very little support and crappy facilities.

Group Two looks nasty Romania, Denmark, and Norway all have a chance of winning and Bosnia will take points off people.

Mick McCarthy's Republic of Ireland were among the top-ranked sides in the draw and were the last seeds drawn out in Group 10.

They will also face Russia, Switzerland, Georgia and Albania.

Looks like a handy enough draw to me - Russia are the only major stumbling block, we should be able to get past the others easily enough *runs for the nearest piece of wood he can find*

Both Russia and Switzerland *can* be pretty good teams but I reckon it'll be down to Russia and Ireland in the end.

England draw looks even handier mind you, Slovakia and Turkey, moderately good.

It's a very handy draw, Russia and Switzerland can't be underestemated(sp?) but Ireland should be good enough to win this group. Russia will be our main threat, hopefully Switzerland will take a few points off them. Albania caused trouble in their last qualifying campaign (Englands WC Group) and can't be underestemated.
Hopefully, we should be going to Euro 2004. :)

    I wouldn,t get to cocky

Georgia drew with Italy a few years ago

Georgia were the best 4th seeds
Albania were the best 5th seeds
and Switzerland were one of the best 3rd seeds

We all know our record in away games against the so called minnows

By the way where is the Swiss home game ganna be played?

But all in all we should win the group but i don't think we can win in Moscow

Ireland should be used to facing eastern European teams by now, Yugoslavia, Croatia, Macedonia, Lativa, Lichtenstien and now Russia, Georgia and Albania. We should be able to beat em all.
When was the last time Russia actually qualified for a major tournament btw?
They are probably the biggest threat but in fairness I cant think of any outstanding Russian players.
Switzerland may turn out a bigger threat than Russia in the end.
