DON'T go near the likes of Geocities etc...they're shíte. Get yourself set up with webspace from the likes of Eircom.net etc wich is much better and does not include any ads

Try the Middle East, Ayatollah. Can't give the space away quick enough there.

Also you can take that Celtic team ****e with you.

I'd agree about eircom.net - set yourslef up with a free dialin a/c - they give you at least 50MB webspace which is up to you what you use it for, with the obvious restrictions - mp3's, porn etc.

You may get 100MB - I'm not sure - but for a website you've loads of space.

Then, if you won't a domain get one which autoforwards onto your eircom.net webspace - if you do it right the visitor knows nothing of where your site is hosted.

DSV is a good suggestion - eircom.net can't offer anything like mysql - frontpage extensions etc - so - do you want space or features!!

Ya sure i'd give it a go. The main reason i was intrested in this was to try out a message board that required php mysql and cgi to run properly and i was only able to get cgi from my host. So i'd need those. But ya if i like it, i'd be happy to sign up to it and reg a domain too.

Alo. (ya can e-mail me through the boards)
