    From one.football.com
Juan Sebastian Veron wants to cut short his up-and-down spell with Manchester United and return to Lazio. "I hope president Sergio Cragnotti can do a deal. I am ready to return," said the Argentina star, who is unhappy at losing his central-midfield job.

He has said that he would return to Lazio if the opportunity arose! but in the paper yesterday it appears that Barcalona are preparing a bid for the Midfielder who hasn't settled as well as was hoped!

To be honest Veron will go to the first club that he can get!

ah he is........ when he is on form! its a pity that he hasn't settled in so well

at the start of the season he was great but it seems to be all too much for him now!

For those not in the know, Veron was banned for a year in Italy for faking a European Passport.
It was widely assumed when he signed for ManUre it would only be for a year allowing him to play out his ban, keep a profile for the upcoming world cup and save Lazio having to pay him.
My guess is hell be on the first plane back to rome in may

Lazio cant resign Veron even if they wanted to as they still to pay united for the signing of Japp Stam and they owe millions to Valencia of Mendiata aswell.

He won't leave, he is not that daft, he has a chance of Premier and European medals, this is not going to happen with Lazio.

I cannot see him staying with us more than 2 years if even, it is too physical for him and he is no longer getting the centre of midfield role with scholsey back on form, so this could be one factor to why he is commanding as much of the game as earlier in the season.
When on form he is electric, his passing is as good and sometimes better than becks and he has a rocket of a shoot.

Personally when he plays he is joy to watch, when he does not or could not be arsed he is a joke, very easliy moved off the ball and gives up way to easy, I am still not convinced of his value, Keano must be worth 50 million if he is worth 28.

I cannot see him goin yet but if we got the same money I think we should let him go but as is, the jury is still out

I do not think united would let him go if they could avoid it. Certainly not till David Beckham signs a new contract. If he does not then Veron would be an obvious replacement in the team and I suspect Alex had that in mind when he bought Veron
