Is there any way to edit what choices appear on the boot menu in win2k?, I've just removed 98 from my machine so I dont want anyone accidently selecting it smile.gif

Seem to remember a configuration file but that may have been for NT :/

I have the exact same question, worse still, 98 is the default on my boot menu.

Haven't a clue about Win2k, but for Nt it was a hidden file in the root, "Boot.INI". May be the same.....

You can also at least set the default boot OS from the system properties/Startup_Shutdown section - again I'd imagine they carried the location over.
But then again it's Microsoft, who needs it to be easy?.....

    It's hidden and read only.
