Did anyone see the Derren Brown (Mind Control) show on Channel4

    Personally I love that kind of stuff, and would have my head burried in psychology books if I had the time. But of course that's one of those things you always plan to do, but never get round to it. Actually now that I think of it, this is probably better off on the Science board, but I am going to leave it here (Mods, move if necessary).

    Anyway
    For those that saw it, what did ya think?

    For those who didn't. It was basically a guy who could read/control peoples minds (not hypnotism). It showed it from several perspectives, E.g medical. He got 3 med students any by simply talking to them, he was able to give and remove a tooth ache. He was able to anethatise one of their hands (once again the person was fully concious), and stick a needle through it, with no blood drawn!!.

    saw bit of it.. think it was all realy really real tho :/

    and yet you ask, is it real ? and u go mad trying to figure out. very entertaining

    I thought the show was absolutely amazing. especially the bit where he was at the greyhound track and got money on losing tickets.(very handy) ;) and yeah it is real, he explains how to do some basic mind reading things on the website phobos posted the link to, like how to tell when someone is lying and it works just about every time (i've tried it out a couple of times). plus he has been studying for 15 years to be able to do all that so i don't think tv had anything to do with it.

    Its pretty good TV, i'll give him that. He and David Blaine have got that "How the Hell did he do that" niche of the market cornered.
