Hi all,

I wuz looking through the boards.ie member list and checking out various homepages which is a topic I have'nt seen mentioned on the boards, some are pretty impressive some are
not great while some are for gamers!;), anyway I thought I'd ask
why did you decide to build a web site and did you do it yourself,
how did it evolve?

My own few square feet of cyberspace is a shop window and
signpost for my music and was developed by a chap I know,
virtually speaking, from a different board in fact he asked me if
I'd like a web site free of charge as he wanted a few
projects to hone his HTML skills on, needles to say I said yes.
I reckon with my design input he's done a fine job!.

Mine is here. The front page changes about once a month and i usually just overwrite the index.htm file instead of numerating them, so loads of them are lost. Though if you try index2.htm, index3.htm etc there might be a few. Could try http://www.aroach.f2s.com/1/ .../2/ etc aswell if yer bothered. Havent a notion whats there and I'm afraid to look :] Also: I Never Finish Anything. Of my own anyway.

Hoping to get into web / graphic design some day, so it's just practice really.

well if your going to visit my homepage then you might as well sign the guestbook.

Its a simple piece of work made with microsoft front page and a few freebie things i got of those .net CDs but at least like several sites ive been to at least all the links work so I guess thats something

front page is usually updated every week.

I'm not even gonna post a link to it it's so crap. It's actually a site about nothing really. I think I just did it because I had nothing else to do in "work". So I decided to waste time and the company's money. I just wanted a place with links to sites that I use a lot and maybe some crap Java games to waste my time on.

Anyway I'm gonna get rid of it and use the space for some kinda digital portfolio or online CV.

- shows examples of my work, some of my writings (from a good while ago), a downloadable currency converter for Windows which I wrote.

The site also includes my resumé/CV and a full on-line portfolio of my previous sites and designs, etc. - although they're not linked to from the main part of the site for obvious reasons. (URL's available on request to potential employers ).
