ADSL guys hate Eircom

    The guys that install the ADSL line arnt eircom, there some software crowd. they were at my friends today and they were talkign about how shtie eircom are and how they are a pack of ****. I LOVE THESE GUYS, not only are they giving me adsl, but we have the same view point. i cant wait untill wednesday, ill give them the link to here.

    well chances are that this outside company were contracted to install adsl because eircom engineers didnt want to (they are a fussy crowd).

    they are probably pissed off with eircom because their contract has been sitting gathering dust for the last few years while eircom sat around scratching their collective arses.

    I know if I was promised a potentially huge contract like that and it was put on hold for years I'd be pretty pissed off too.

    mmm-no
    I had an engineer in installing isdn and he said they were going to do it-but management had decided to contract out the installation at the customers end..
    Eircom will still have to do the work at the exchange, but after that its a simple job to install the splitter, software etc at the customers house..the guy installing the new isdn line was good- in and out in 40 mins( and he had to do some quick work on a cabinet near by to hook up yhe extra copper pair)

    I don't see how a thread about certain people hating eircom benefits this forum at all.

    Consider it locked.
