I have set up an irc channel for this board, just join #tech.ie on quakenet. I didn't bother making this a permanent announcement, because I just want to see how this goes first. I know plenty of tech boards readers use irc, and I think it would be a good idea to have somewhere to discuss technology. If you don't already…

I have set up an irc channel for this board, just join #tech.ie on quakenet. I didn't bother making this a permanent announcement, because I just want to see how this goes first.
I know plenty of tech boards readers use irc, and I think it would be a good idea to have somewhere to discuss technology. If you don't already use irc, you can get a client from www.mirc.co.uk , and convenient quakenet servers include irc.intensive.co.uk and irc.b0rk.co.uk.
