3-0 looks like Man U are on a slide. I reckon they should make a decision on Ferguson now rather than leave it till the end of the season. Now lets hope the Gunners can take advantage of this.

I'd love Liverpool to win it, but I'd be uber-happy if United finished outside the top 3 :)

Bolton, Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle and Chelsea
Someone pointed out that if you take the first letter from each team you get a certain Man Utd player,
Now if thats not a sign?

    Maybe....

Fulham, AstonVilla, Blackburn, Ipswich, Everton & Newcastle

really are in w/ a chance than;)

[but if the above player really does last between the sticks for the whole season, I'd be shocked]

Fabian Barthez is'nt the problem, gadalf is right- its the manager who has to go, but as a Real Red I'd say not just yet!

To put it mildy theres a rake of probs.....

    The Neville Sisters
    Blanc
    Barthez
    Strike partner for Van Nistleroy?
    and prolly chiefly Fergie.

More and more he portrays all the characteristics of a Lame Duck. Its very difficult to play for a manager who everyone knows is leaving @ the end of the season. Think about your own work situation, if you knew your boss was leaving. The fact he isn't speaking to the press either(except MUTV) emits nego vibes in abundance.

    **ME senses slippy slope**

Thats why its Fergie who has to go, a new manager will
instil new hunger (and fear) into the squad and they'd be
improved very quickly, but like I say not this season please!

    Roy Keane as centre-half?

    Hmmm.

    Mike.

    The neville sisters, roflmao :)

One of ManUres main problems (apart from the obvious defensive problems) seems to be accomodating Veron into the squad. The lone striker formation isnt working too well, and even when they revert to 4-4-2 its doesnt quite go according to plan (oh im enjoying this:) )
Still, they wont have to worry about that next season, as Juans ban from playing in Italy is over by then and hell be on the first plane back to Rome.

I'd have to agree with Dustaz there though in how much I'm enjoying ManUres success this year, they really have surprised me.

Mark Bosnich was and is an excelelnt goal keeper, and he caved under the pressure of the intense media glare. Now Barthez, goal keeper of the world proven greatest team in Europe and the world (France , not Man U).

Veron, a world class player is also feeling the same heat.

Fergeson did not give others room to prove themselves and nearly wrecked their careers in the process. It is perhaps justice that he himself should feel the same heat now in his final year. An inglorious end is at hand, and a sad one despite an amazing career. But he should have quit last year instead of trying to prolong an inevitable decline. Throwing money at the problem has not worked for any other team ( and I am a Blackburn fan) so why did the Master of the premiership not learn from others mistakes? Baffled!

    UTD's problems start with Ferguson.
I think he's lost the plot.

Silvestre and the Nevilles are suspect.
Blanc should get his free bus pass, he's so slow.
Veron doesnt fit into their style of play.
Scholes is unhappy with his new role.
    Van Nistleroy needs a partner.
Barthez needs to cut out the crap.

Well it makes for interesting TV, at the very least.
And the new manager will have his work cut out!

(George Graham for the UTD job!! He might be able to arrange the odd clean sheet! :D )

Saw some guy on the bus today, the back of his jumper has ABU written real big and then a loada teams written underneath whom he doesn't mind.

Pity he was a scanger\junkie type guy and i was to scared to be in a 2 metre radius of him, let alone speak to him(Damn my cowardice!)

Any ideas where one gets that jumper?
