    hey dudes

    im using hyperterminal and when i get to the white txt screen and i cant type. i've never used it before. anybody know what to do.

    [start/run/hypertrm] try in and see.

    how are you connected and to what kind of machine?

    different machines require different settings

    im in work now and the problem is at home.

    connection is a 56k modem
    machine; p4 1.7 using XP

    how would it make a difference?

    I'm looking for a putty-style term emulator that will let me use the the function and cursor keys. Will putty do this for me? I d/l'd it last nite, but it looks the same as all the others. no f-keys?
