    Ride the lightining - Metallica

    Kill 'em all - Metallica

and justice for all - Metallica

    Beneath the Remains - Sepultura

Vulgar Display of Power - Pantera

Do you know any other bands?

Despite Dadakopf's ultra-elitism (Take no notice, everyone is beneath him) I have to slightly agree...

From someone with a rapidly growing collection, and odd tastes, I can honestly say the following: (Rant time)

    Essential?
    There is no essential.
To me, all my music is essential. (Well, tell a lie, I have kittie's first album, that was a waste.)

This really is nothing more of a common denominator type thread.
Which could be fun, but I'm bored, and I need a rant.

    Why no Masters Of Reality?
    No Appatite For Destruction?
    No Hell Awaits?
    No Never Mind The Bollocks?
    No Iron Maiden?
    No Blood Sugar Sex Magic?
    No Led Zep 1/2/3...

    Need I go on?

For me at least... It's all pretty essential.
From 60's legends The Doors, to Black Sabbath, to Joy Division, to Metallica...
Nine Inch Nails, Alanis Morrisette, Opeth, Ozzy, Fields Of The Nephelim, Blue Oyster Cult, Anathema, Tool, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Therion, Tristania, Emperor, David Bowie, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, At The Gates, Type O Negative, Mortiis, Smashing Pumpkins, Depeche Mode, Placebo, Peccatum, Satyricon, Garbage, A Perfect Circle, Katatonia, Nile, My Dying Bride, Borknagar, Misery Loves Co., The Kovenant, Rachel Stamp, AFI, White Zombie, The Rolling Stones, Switchblade Symphony, Mayhem, Nightwish, Iced Earth, Nevermore, Acid Bath, The Pixies, Queen, Marduk, Motorhead, Dimmu Borgir, Zyklon...

    Ok... Well... ITS ALL GOOD!

And to save people headache, I'm not going to bother about going in depth into all the obscure Norweigan and Swedish stuff that I love so much.
