the following scenario, two file systems, "one" and "two", in the following situation on "server"

    mount one /parent
    mount two /parent/child

share -F nfs -o ro /parent (parent shared read only)
    share -F nfs -o rw,anon=0 /parent/child (child shared rw)

then on the client machine i want to do

    mount -F nfs server:/parent /mount_point

i would like this to pick up both the parent and the child to be accessible vai this single mount ( which was working fine till rebooted the server yesterday). Doing two mounts is not possible but dammed if i know why it suddenly stopped working and since it was working it should be possible.

    anyone ?

Telling us which OS it is might help.

You might be able to use share_nfs with the -o sub
option, thought I thought that was default.

You could also check your security settings, though if it works for one mount point it shouldnt make a differance.

Is there anything different in dfstab ?
