isdn line need help

    need halp have got a isdn line with eircom has any one used this with utv online can you use the two lines on this as eircom want more money on there site to use the two lines, its a webflyer modem all help is needed

    Yep, you can use both channels with UTV internet, but it will still cost you the price of two phone-calls... because either way - if you want to use duel-mode (128k), you'll be using both lines.
    It's best to think of 'Eircom.net' and 'Eircom the phone provider' as seperate entities really.
    Your ISDN line would be provided by 'Eircom the phone provider', and those charges will be the same no matter what ISP you're using.

    The only exception to this are the ISP's that offer 'unmetered' access (like Esat Surf No Limits used to), which UTV internet are offering in areas of Northern Ireland at the moment.
    Word on the street is that UTV internet are soon to be releasing Unmetered dial-up accounts for use with ISDN here in Dublin and possibly the rest of ROI.
    But for now, unless you live north of the border - you're stuck with whatever Eircom want to charge you.
    128k is overrated anyway... best to just stick with 64k (single-channel) until something better comes along.
