...or more accurately, traffic planning. Does anyone know wtf they are thinking? The 'Dublin Traffic Initiative' doesn't seem to have much initiative at all!!(How'dya like them puns :)) For example, as I'm sure at least some of you have encountered, the bus lane traffic lights on the Templeogue road. Grrrrr  it really makes my blood boil. These lights stay green for the buses for 40 seconds(red for real traffic) and only go green for real traffic for 10 fookin seconds!!!!!!!!!!!WTF!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! The bus lane is idle for 99% of the time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they are trying to force people to use buses, maybe they should actually make some proper routes. All the buses that go down that road go into town, which is pointless when I want to go to UCD or Donnybrook, it's faster to drive, even at 8:45 in the morning, and there are hundreds of other places which should be linked, but Dublin Bus are too crap to do something about it. Ahhh...venting. And btw...wtf do they do with our road tax?! Dublin roads are in bits!!

    ... and for pedestrians...
I walk up and down the south side canal crossing leeson st bridge and the bridge near Ranelagh. There are no green/red men there and it is so busy at peak hours. It can get very dangerous indeed.

I keep meaning to write to the authorities but never get round to it so I guess it's partly my fault....

TBH, I don't think that one letter will do much good, But if every one took an intrest it might help. I think roads are just crap in Ireland. However the Irish rail system is a f|_|ck off lot better then in england.
