"endangering the life of a foreign dignitary". Are they confusing pretty red flowers with samurai swords or sumthin?! I hate to think what her sentence would have been if she used a feather duster... life at least.

Anyway I thought ol' Chaz was a tree hugger, she was just bringing him closer to nature surely :D

We must learn from this tragedy and ban these flowers as a menace to our society.

    From The Guardian :
Miss Lebedyver, who will remain in custody until Sunday, took several swipes at Charles with a single red carnation before telling reporters in Russian that "Britain is the enemy of the world". Armed guards then escorted her to a police van.

The Latvian president, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, yesterday labelled her "mentally unstable".

"There are mentally unstable and ill people who wish to stick out at such occasions in all countries," she said.
Mentally unstable is right. Why didn't she use a brick?
Cluster bombs are cool but this is what'll happen next if flowers are not banned.

I just heard about it earlier on sky news and feel that 15 years is appaling, imho she should be given a medal :D although I think that she should have used a 9 inch block!

i think that the government labelled it as an "attack on a foriegn ministers life" or summin on those lines!

next time I see a lady with a bunch of flowers ill run away :)

Shell never get 15 years.Even if she did Political Correctness would force Charlie to step in and get her released. These sentences are seldom given. In the US you might read lets say about a celeb who faces 15-20 years for carrying a gun or having a tiny amount of drugs,or even a minor assault. But itd seldom be passed,if every1 convicted of assault got that half the us would be in jail.

Anyone remember that bit in Catch22 where a local throws a rose and it lands in the eye of a general (whose name eludes me, the lad who got the appartments for the enlisted men).
