    i have some peon (sprial afaik) changing my signature on a regular basis. its a joke so i dont care and will change my pw if it annoys me, but the reason he has my login is from me posting in dnc.

    <rant>

    and yes, i did log-out. for some reason when you logout if you type in www.boards.ie again it has you logged in still. to actually get logged out you need to maually delete the cookies.

    </rant>

    my sig is meant to be "- no image -" :-)

    Surely there is some way of setting a TTL on the cookies so that they expire after like 30 mins of inactivity or something, I mean its a rampant problem, especially with netcafe users :/

    I work in a netcafe, and when I post something sometimes I forget to log out, and then the next day i find that im after posting some gibberish, but twasnt me, oh noe.

    Wasn't there an option in the user profile / user CP for whether cookies are to be saved or not?

    whatever about the option to use cookies or not, we REALLY need a time to live thing. Like Yahoo, i have cookies on all thier sites (fantasy football for example) but if i dont do anything for 2 hours, im asked for my password again. Good idea imho

    This is becoming a persistant problem.
