I'm thinking there must be a lot of you out there who have admiration for the cure and probably have a lot of their albums in yer collections.

My question. Yr favourite Cure album, hell favourite cure song while we're at it.

I must say I rilly rilly ADORE Disintegration. I keep coming back to it and getting into it. It's my favourite of theirs. It's very dark, a sense of despair hangs over that album but equally the songs (a lot of them) are heartbreakingly sad lovesongs. Am I just ****eing on? No, I think y'all probably feel a deep attachment to the oeuvre of Robert Smith as much as I do.

Songs-wise I adore Pictures Of You. It rips my heart right out. Beautiful. Plainsong too- the way the song just falls out of the speakers as if from nowhere.

Very interested in your opinions.

I'm not really into the Cure but I like the Hanging Garden.
AFI do a really good cover of it too.

I'm quite partial to Burn off the crow sound track but love song is ultimate in my books.

Hmm.....disintergration.A brilliant album i must admit,yes indeed a favourite of mine.
but there are times when i prefare to listen to pornography and staring at the sea(cuz that has the original version of 'close to me' and 'love cats' on it.im not the fondest of the remixed version of close to me on galore, but still.)

'object' are amazing songs too,especially the latter cuz of the lyrics.
oh dear lord i could go on and on for days,long story short,i dont have just one favourite song by the cure.
I'm driving myslef insane looking for other people with a love for the cure,so if anyone really appriciates them please mail me
