    <baddie growl> I know his name...

Try a trickier one. Cmon, tis Friday evening before a bank holiday weekend, it's not like anyone is actually *working*. I'll start:

"Let me tell you about the time I almost died."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,393 ✭✭✭Jaden

6 minutes. You people should really go and do some work.

    Try:

(sexy older woman voice) "Are you trying to seduce me?"

The Graduate. Ann Bancroft (Mrs Robinson) speaking.

    How about:

    "Charlie don't surf"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 132 ✭✭Highnoon

    The Graduate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,393 ✭✭✭Jaden

    "Charlie don't surf".

    Full Metal Jacket.

Me me me me.. <hand up in the air>

    La Femme Nikita

    How about

"I could dance with you till the cows come home. On second thought, I'd rather dance with the cows when you came home."

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,393 ✭✭✭Jaden

Close enough , it was Assassins a remake of Nikita (which was in French).

"I could dance with you till the cows come home. On second thought, I'd rather dance with the cows when you came home."

Groucho Marx, in either "A day at the races", or "Duck Soup".

    How about:

    "Who are those guys?".

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,264 ✭✭✭✭Hobbes

    Grocho Marx in "Duck Soup"

    My turn.

    Ya ever bop your bologna?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 710 ✭✭✭BattlingCheese

    Duck Soup it is

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,393 ✭✭✭Jaden

    "Ya ever bop your bologna?"

    National Lampoon's Vacation.

Name the film, in which one of the leading actors only says four words, and they were:

    "No Tickets!",

    and

    "Thank You".

"wanna go see a dead body?"

    ...Boyz N' The Hood

also, "are you trying to seduce me" WAS also in American Pie and "charlie dont surf" was in "Apocolipse Now" not FMJ.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,438 ✭✭✭TwoShedsJackson

'wanna go see a dead body?' is Stand By Me.

Try this, slightly more obscure one :)
I'm here to kick ass and chew gum, and I'm all out of gum

I meant Apocalipse Now, not FMJ, oops. :)

"I'm here to kick ass and chew gum, and I'm all out of gum."

Castor, It wasn't "Rowdy" Roddy Piper perchance?

    Galaxy Quest?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,393 ✭✭✭Jaden

    Galaxy Quest.

    Right, here's a question.

    Make the link:

    Harrison Ford.
    William Shatner.
    Jodie Foster.

    NO-ONE will get this.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,219 ✭✭✭plastic membrane

X-Mex? Maybe they were. Here are a few more in the link:

    Leslie Nielsen
    Don Johnson
    Sondra Locke
    Carl Weathers

What do all seven of these people have in common?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 68,317 ✭✭✭✭seamus

Omg I have never seen a thread grow so quickly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 305 ✭✭Guy Incognito

All 7 were in Kung Fu.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,393 ✭✭✭Jaden

A certain actor owes Dustin Hoffman and Tom Selleck a big favour each. Who and why?

    :)

    Harrison Ford, in't it?
    Hoffman turned down Blade Runner.
    Selleck turned down Indiana Jones.

Bet you're ragin' now, Jaden, eh?:D

    *Clap Clap*

I might have been mad if I'd lost money or something, but it is only a question. :)

Still, nice to meet other people who watch too much telly too. :)

    Film Quote:

    "Are you free Tuesday?"

    pause

    "I'm free Tuesday".

I'll let someone else answer this one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,989 ✭✭✭✭Giblet

Remember, fans, Tuesday is Die Hard Night. Free admission for anyone who was actually alive the last time the Indians won the pennant

and this one from a different source
Maybe you didn't hear me, Doctor. Getting pregnant requires a certain physical element that I haven't had for a long time... I'm talking a VERY long time. I am a love-free zone, so it is utterly *impossible* that I be up the duff! What's your diagnosis *now*?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,393 ✭✭✭Jaden

Amazing, post a quote you can't find on Google, and nobody replies. :)

I can't believe nobody got that "It's time to kick ass and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum" one. Evil Dead! My favorite horror series ever. Evil Dead 2 is on on thursday night at 11:50 on TV3. I'd advise you all to watch it and/or record it.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, excellent movie. Watched it on DVD the other night. First time I saw it. Great. I so love the bit where they blow the train to bits, what a shot.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,438 ✭✭✭TwoShedsJackson

DrunkLeprechaun, that 'kick ass and chew bubblegum' line is from They Live!, not Evil Dead.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,989 ✭✭✭✭Giblet

    Yep Castor is correct
your probably confused because jon st jon used loads of evil dead quotes in Duke Nukem, and he also used that one

Anyway Army of Darkness HAd all the Good Quotes
(ED2 had some good ones too!)
