Right heres the deal, I recently got a SNL account and want to make use of it as much as posible for everything except gaming to save on the old PHONE BILL.

Now, my dad has an e-mail address setup under eircom and everyone he does business with knows it so he dosent want to change it.

Trouble is SNL wont let us check the Eircom mail server.

Anyone know whats going on and how to fix it?

    El

Yeah, I have no problems using Eircom's mail server on Esat with Outlook Express 5...

thats weird, Pegasus checks it for me no problem.

Eircom have a webmail facility anyway. (webmail.eircom.net)

Ye I rekon the problem is ure server account setup in outlook or whatever.
you would expect the server to be:
    mail.eircom.net
    But its not! It is:
    mail1.eircom.net
apparently mail1 is more effeciant r summit like that
