I never realised how popular Sinn Fein were in Dublin ( Me being form outside the Pale I try not to concern myself with Dublin matters) until when in Dublin for the Irish game yesterday we had a look at the 20th anniversary march for the hunger strikers. It was packed so many supporters. Here in Limerick Sinn Fein are about as popular as David Connolley

I don't think they are that popular. What percent are they again? 2%? Most of the people there were probably from the rest of Ireland.

ROFLOL Sinn Fein popular in Dublin. I wonder how many of those supporters were Northern or from the Louth area. Didn't notice any dodgy looking builders amoung them by any chance.

I was in dublin on Saturday and happened to be in the path of the march on serveral occations... The marchers were mostly from the border regions and NI... And the Vocal and Avid supports were also from similar areas.... I am a dubliner and have alwasy been one. But i felt that these marchers were somewhat foreign and did not belong in Dubin. Most of the supports resembled the MAD Fat red faced common women u would se shouting at RUC and Standing proud on TV of NI....

I tried to cross during a gap in the HUGE precession and i got assaulted by a group of these terrifying women... I kept going ;).

saying all that I did notice the lack of english accents on the street that day and later on into the night... that i liked :)
