How dare you be 'peed off' at the site not being updated? What right have you to demand that it is? Ronan does not have to update the website - it is not there simply for you. Be grateful for what is there - an excellant resource for multichannel television. Stop complaining and be grateful for a great site and a great forum (thanks to boards.ie).

Maybe theres just less interesting news nowafdays.When i found this site about this time a year and a bit ago[i remember that well cos it was brimming with talk of the imminent free dish and box offer here]it was updated once every 2 or 3 days.

It's not even a week since last update! I can't see what the problem is. It may be possible that Ronan has other things to do besides ICDG. Trying to get news stories and researching takes a fair bit of time, I should know!:p

It's very hard to keep up to date with the news if you are a part-time webmaster. Thats why with my site, there is no news, as I dont have time to update it that often!

Well, in response to popular demand, the site has just been updated with the latest news on UTV on Sky, and UTV/Sky's failed bid for the ITV1 news contract. Sunday is earmarked for the relaunch of Sky News's graphics (though if Digitalspy is to be believed, and its' usually right, there won't be that many changes) and the next update will be then.

Hopefully I myself will be going digital in the next few weeks so you can expect a full report when that happens. Probably NTL, but maybe SkyDigital.

I really don't have the time to do daily updates. Over the last few weeks I have been extremly busy and though I will not be quite as busy for the next while, I still may only be able to get two or three updates a week done. I'm going to try to bring all the information sections up to date though.

I'll try! Seriously though, there isn't really enough news to warrant daily updates. Ronan, you're doing a damned fine job!

Ronan is well able to answer for himself - but for me, I have a full time job that involves substantial travel so my website doesn't get updated as much as I would like to.

But like Ronan, I build my website because I am interested in the subject and not for commercial gain.

And again, I absolutely reserve the right to update my site as frequently as I see fit.

Never forget we pay to create these sites.

its just im not on that often and didnt notice .im sorry ronan its a great site and its the only one i go to for digital news i was just wondering why it wasnt updated for 3 weeks .nothing to do with u it was my fault for not noticing the internet was broke
