No Sony "Live" for PS3

    According to maxconsole (http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=5422) there will be no Sony online service for the PS3, it will be up to developers to do their own.

    This is a Baaaaaaaad move in my opinion.

    Well at least they've made my mind up for me, I can now buy a 360 without worrying that the PS3 would be a better package.

    yeah it is a bad move.
    so is Blue - Ray i think, they wont fit it.

    Look at UMD's. no where near all filled. Bringing out too many formats.

    Hardly anyone could fill a data CD when they came out first either...

    i'd be surprised if this is true because previous reports suggested sony stopped developing ps2's online architecture to pursue the ps3 online situation.

    this could be sony's marketing men up to no good of course. get everyone disappointed and before xbox hits the market show their online content to the world
