power adapter will have a us plug on it. And u might get caught for custom charges. So might not be as cheap in the end

tbh probably cheaper and quicker to buy it in europe. Also the mail in rebate might be too much hassle to claim.

Ah i have the same sort of question. I have Ntl at the moment and the step-da just bought a laptop and wants to surf the net. Will the WRT54G do everything and how easy/hard is it to set up(with ntl at the mo so its a cable modem)

yea if the laptop has wireless then he can connect anywhere in house. If not then he can connect using a network cable to the router.

WRT54G should work with NTL modem no prob. I'm sure there's a few people on boards who have it set up and will help if ur having probs.

I have a Linksys WRT54G router with my ntl bb setup. Been happily using it for 15 months now. I got mine from Elara. It is e91 with them (it's e109 with Peats).

It's dead simple to set up. Quick Start guide router shows you. Turn off modem when connecting router to it - to get modem to accept router (MAC address caching thing).

The WRT54G or GS are great routers dead easy to setup and configure about ten minutes work.
