    crappy match. but i was thrilled to see galway win even though im not from there....

    It wasn't that bad, but then again I'm from Galway, so I'm slightly biased. But Meath did put up a fight, especially in the first half, where it was practically point for point. But the second half was a different story. Galway no longer had the sun in their eyes, and proved to be the better team in the first half because of it.

    I had predicted a 16 point win for Galway before the game started, so I amazed my friends and family with that one. But that gawd damn last second point, made my 6th sense look less promising.

    Damn you injury time :rolleyes:

    I am from Meath,yeh the game was crap neither team looked like they deserved to be in an all ireland final , but Meath were absolutly at there worst ever , they were a joke , galway played bad aswell , but Meath were so bad it wasnt funny.
    another thing the referee was the first referee to do a final in like 18years , please god dont let another cork man near a referee's whistle EVER!
    Respect to galway though.They deserved to win,but mark my words "vengenance will be served,and revenge will be ours"
    I wasted £15 on ticket for the hill , the only good thing that came out off it was i got talkin to some nice galway chicks
    :D
    Let us forget this day.

    yeah i think it was obvious who was the better team but meath suffering from the extra man of galway really destroyed them in the end.....galway just seemed to walk up the field and pop the ball over the bar....whatcha gonna do ,galway best on the day and maybe for the year
