Castlevania double pack for the GBA on its way

While I don't know if it will make it to Europe, this may interest a few of you import-savvy people who missed out on the wonderful Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow Castlevania titles for the GBA. A double pack featuring the two games is on track for release in the US in January.

Remember they were both a bitch to find when they were originally released (at least in Europe) so this is an apt opportunity to pick 'em up.

I'll ask my mate in Konami Europe about it tomorrow.

I hope it's reasonably priced, I doubt it though, most, if not all GBA games are priced on a par with DS games. Will the double pack be worth picking up if you have already got Castlevania for the DS?

What I'd really like to see is a double pack of the GBA Metroid games (near identical to Castlvania IMO), they were cool.

Oh sweet! Finished Dawn of Sorrow a few weeks back and have been itching to play the other Castlevanias but have not seen them for a reasonable price.

Must find those metroid games as well. Cant wait for this bloody exam to be finished so I can start playing again!

The US version is going to be $30, which is very reasonable imo.

If it does make it to Europe, I'd expect it to retail at the usual €45...

    You do the math.

Of course it is especially if you are itching for more Castlevania goodness. They are just as good as Dawn of Sorrows but a little easier unfortunately.

Well he has got back to me and says that he hasn't heard anything about a European release. Doesn't mean it won't happen but it doesn't seem likely. Still there should be no problem importing.

Do American cartridges work in European GBAs?

Yup. No region locking whatsoever on Nintendo portables.
