    Heat the pan until lead melts, it will drip through the hole and into the barrell of water below, the distance from pan to barrell is important as the lead needs to form into droplets. The droplets of lead will solidify before hitting the bottom of the barrell and hey presto... well actually that's not really buckshot... or is it?
