Standbye box problems

Folks, I Have two boxes Grundig (Irish) & Panasonic (FTA), when I power them up each morning and lock them on to BBC 1 (N/I) & ITV (Anglia) they go into standbye mode if no surfing of either channel takes place during the day. Any thoughts why this should be happening? Thanks in advance.:confused: :mad:

Hmm. I have a box (FTA) that does the same. (Think it's a grundig). use it to feed ch4 around the house and it's kinda annoying that I have to ping it every couple of days.

sheesh. technology. making me climb the stairs.:rolleyes:
