OK, that's good news too!!! Never liked condoms anyhow!:D

But getting back to the oestrogen and femininity thing, do you guys find girls with small eyes, larger noses and longer chins more attractive than those with bigger eyes, big lips, smaller noses etc. ???

Also, does low oestrogen mean that one has high testosterone?

Hate to be blunt but it doesn't show her rack - that's an important consideration and probably related to oestrogen levels too :D

    Sorry, what does "rack" mean?

Is it impossible to have a serious discussion about this topic? I had expected some intelligent reflection, not mindless comments about serum, potato heads or "racks".

it might be better suited to the fashion/apperance forum rather than the fitness forum...

by my reckoning more guys seem to use this forum than girls so some of the above answers are inevitable, we are guys after all!!!

post up a pic of someone you think has bigger eyes, lips etc and then one of someone with smaller eyes,lips/what you said and we'll give an opinion

Make-up can improve appearance across the board, but it will obviously help people who are less attractive more

some serious scientific research went into this methinks. This is nothing new there's been research done on this dating back to the fifties mainly done by make up companies. The main thing to come out of these studies is that while appearing more fertile makes ones more attractive the main one is make up that mimics sexual arousal (and a good rack sorry had to be said)

Agreed. Beauty is completely unrelated to fitness. Wrong board.

Fair enough, but it doesn't really belong to fashion/apperance either. Is there any health forum on boards.ie?

Also, beauty is very much linked to fitness. Those who work out look good!

I think the one on the right looks far better, though! Her face is bolder, clearer!

I prefer the one on the left, it's more feminine. I guess some guys are turned on by masculine features, they might want the woman to wear the trousers...

Meh - you can't tell who is going to be bossier from a face tbh.

    It's fairly common sense...

A man with more testosterone will be stronger, more aggressive, more "manly"...

A woman with more oestrogen will be more feminine...

Funny thing is, men with high testosterone are more likely to get testicle cancer and go bald.

Is high oestrogen levels in women linked with breast cancer???

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 689 ✭✭✭esperanza

Yeah, I think breast cancer is linked to high oestrogen levels. That's good news for me! No kids, as I'm unfertile, and no cancer! Looks like I'll lead a rich, happy and healthy lifestyle! Thanks to my hormones!
