After installing open office(latest.. 2?) there today, the font on the menu bars is non-standard.
    Take a look at image.
Anyone know how to fix it?

I just installed OOo2 and I've no probs. Just a guess but do you have the java libraries installed? Works without but never tried it. Could always re-download OOo maybe you got a corupt file.

This is the second time to download and the 4th install...
    Which java libraries?

It requires JRE 1.5 but only for databases iirc. Looks like it's skinned tbh - I'll have a look when I get home myself to see if there's anything like that for mine.

Did you try downloading from a different mirror? I downloaded a large linux distro from an ftp server before, only to find out that it failed crc checks both times. :/

I forgot to have a look last night - sorry.

Khannie - if it failed crc it wouldn't have installed at all.

Don't make me go over there!

Is there an inbuilt crc check? My borked linux installer got pretty far before going tits up. Could be just one broken byte. Worth trying though.
