This is a message from my frind "Nordberg" who is currently doing very well in the latest 4 day 10K WPT event. Just look at these fools. It's a 10K buy in!!!! Who on this board would play 55 or A9 this way. Anyone?

"45k at the dinner break. Been handed chips all day. two highlights, at the 100-200 level, guy limps for 200, next guy makes it 600, next guy calls, I am in the SB with KK and make it 2400, limper folds, guy that raised previously jams instantly, other guy mucks. Guy jammed on me for a good 8k total or so with 55 (my hand held up).

Hand from level 4, (100/200/25), I am in the SB with 55, 5 way unraised pot. Flop is AK4 two diamonds, checked around, turn is an offsuit 5, I bet 800, bad player makes it 3000 leaving himself about 5000 more, I jam, he calls with A9.

Leibert still in, Seidel still in and Chris Ferguson moved to our table with about 20 minutes left in the break. Chris has the most of any of them with about 12k.

Two more levels tonight, 150/300 and 200/400."

I wouldn't play those hands that way in a poxy freeroll ... and here was me thinking the play would get better as the stakes got higher

You would think so, I spent a few hours in the merrion yesterday watching the EPT, some of the play was absoloute maddness,

    A play I seen yesterday

UTG puts in a raise of about 4xBB folded around to the button(slightly above average stack) who calls, SB/BB fold

    flop is K x x

UTG pushes for the rest of his stack (about average stack)

button calls with 10 7o no 10 or 7 on the board?

    UTG had AK

    4th/5th blanks

4k buy-in what the hell is going on?
