"All in wonder" graphics cards - PAL/NTSC specific?

I'm thinking of grabbing an All in wonder 9800 Pro off ebay but it just dawned on me that buying from the far side of the Atlantic could leave me with a useless TV tuner and an expensive but insignificant upgrade from my 9700pro.

Are the tuners in these cards specific to the TV standard of the region they are sold in? ATI's UK site lists the 7500 as the only AIW card available for PAL.

Edit: I can't find how to delete this post :(

in Ireland you have to have a class 3 tuner for alot of channels, so even alot of tv's/card's sold in the UK won't be able to pick up all the channels here.
