Bet the flop because there are 3 players in the hand who will call with a lot of hands including Ace high. raise the turn becuase you'll be called by flush draws straight draws evn second pair. What happened in the river is irrelevent.

Is limit far more odds based then no limit? I play exclusively no limit but do read a bit about limit.

Obviously pot odds and implied odds play a big part in NL but a lot of what iv read seems to suggest that its pretty much all there is to limit? Or am i missing the subtleties? (can not spell that word)

Don't play alot of Limit myself, and I'm sure Nicky will give you a more informed answer. But from what I've seen, at the low limits there's really no room for funny plays, and it would mostly be Odds based. But as you move up the levels I'd say there is alot more room for the subtleties (you got it right) of the game, and players can actually lay down a hand, and there won't be 5 or more players seeing every flop.....

Yeah, I've done that a few times, for me it's like trying to play poker handcuffed, I _hate_ it

Limit is a very technical betting game. A lot of the time you might be playing with just overcards. Shorthanded large pots are often won by Ace high or taken down early bya player playing his draw aggressively and getting someone off second pair. It's often corect to raise even when you klnow you're behind in order to create the pot odds fora your draw or to take control of the pot.

For exaple 6 handed you are dealt JhTh in the BB. 3 players limp in and you checl. The flop comes 2c 5s 9h. The SB leads out. There are 5 small bets in the pot. What should you do? The answer is raise.

yes i understand that is the correct way of betting, but i varied my betting tech, on that particular hand, thinking it would work to my advantage blahhhhh

I think you cannot be a winning $5-$10 limit player. I'm not trying to be obnoxious or supercilious.

    I have to agree.

I was a bit worried when you only found out last week what "bubble" meant a week later your posting hands from 5/10

I think what's happened here is you had your big win in the MTT and it's gone a bit to your head, I've watched you play a few times and I really think 5/10 is way way out of your league, I mean no dis-respect, it's way way out of my league too.
