What are you going to do with your extra hour...

I'm thinking of splitting it halfways, with 30 minutes extra sleep tomorrow and the other half downing another bottle whilst watching sh*te on the telly later.
Also since it'll now officially be winter, I'm considering just curling up in a ball and sleeping till next march....I hate this time of year.

Oh and before someone asks; no, you don't get an extra hour in the nightclub/pub, at least not anyplace I've ever come across, though it'd be a great gimmick to attract the punters...

ill be getting up an hour early. As I always do. Then I'll spend a good deal of time cursing DST.
Then Ill go back to sleep and wake up very late. and most likely get in trouble in work.
Same as every time the clocks change.

It's not really an extra hour. More... an oppurtunity to sleep in late....

Technically the extra hour is travelling back in time.

Maybe I'll stick on 'Back to the Future'.

Kinda useful actually. Got a bit wrecked last night, so today was destined to be something of a slow starter, which was bad because I have a lot to do... What happens then? Extra hour!! Winner!

what did i do with my extra hour? sleep in? have an extra long breakfast? no that would be too sensible, instead i forgot about it and showed up an hour early for work for an extra long day, yay:(

at this time of year it goes from 2am back to 1am and in march, from 1am forward to 2am...they don't do it from 1 till 12 or vice versa to avoid confusions over dates, and data systems AFAIK

[edit] BTW I was pretty sure I had my profile options set up to reflect end of DST...but the forum time is still showing an hour ahead of GMT...what gives?

    Happy birthday ;)

I think I'll take the extra hour and think about the passing of time, and the preciousness of life.

Surely dressing up as a witch and bobbing for apples would have been more apt as opposed to just getting bladdered like we do in this country every other weekend...

According to some dude in the pub we now have an 'extra hour every day until the clocks go forward'

A neighbour called me an nerd for remembering to put my watch back - he forgot. Apparently only 'anal people' remember to do it. Maaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

does this mean we'll get more sleep, until the clocks change again, or does it not change?

It means that until your body clock catches up with the hour we gained you'll awaken earlier in the morning and be able to hit the snooze button a few times without jeopardising your chances of being on time for work or whatever....unfortunately it alsomeans you'll be feeling tired earlier than you normally would.

It's like an hour's jetlag...most will get over it within 2-3 days...

I spent my extra hour on the hardwood floor of my mates new flat. I was brutally hungover and dehydrated and my side is still sore after it. I so wasted my extra hour this year :o(
