    Looking for something cheap and cheerfull there( about 7days), over next 4 weeks. Doesn't matter where, just sunshine and a few good pubs.
    Anyone come across anything that might fit?

    HI,
    I've been to all of the Canary Islands, two of which i work on for 6 months each!
    My all time favourite has to be Feurteventura, it is the largest Canary island but it is the least eveloped (ruined by blocks of apartments!)
    There are two main resorts on Feurteventurs one is Correlljo and the other is Calenta De Feuste. Correlljo is livelier.
    There are loads of watersports activities avaliable if thats what you're in to.
    I really dont like Tenirefe or Gran Canaria both are fine if you like mad all night partying and really loud discos and clubs (god i sound like an old wan!) sorry its just a personal thing you might like them. There isnt much to do apart from pubs though. The sand on Tenerife is black (volcanic) aswell didnt like that too much either!
    Lanzorete (sp) is grand nicer and safer then gran canaria and tenerife but my fav. is feurte. falconholidays do deals to the canaries at the mo. a week in most of the islands is about €250 pp for apartment. not bad at all for winter sun. have a great holiday.

    I've been to C De Feuste before and I am sadly an old wan, but might try Correlljo this time. I'll have a look at Falcon but I see Cassidy and Buget have some reasonable deals going, aswell.
