Procrastinating

I've lost my retainer and my train ticket to London for tomorrow morning. Also most of my clothes are currently drying as I forgot to wash them earlier in the week and now I get to pack at about 5am. I am so very organised. I am in such a lazy mood and could not be bothered finding what I need to find, packing or anything else that I should really have done earlier on this week. It's going to suck when I have to leave tomorrow morning but for now I'm going to sit online and post on Boards while I waste away my precious sleeping time (5 hours 40 minutes until getting up time). Anyone else procrastinating or being lazy in general? Entertain me I says!

I could tell you, but I'll do it tomorrow instead...

I highly recommend you put the kettle on, dig out any ice cream or chocolate you have hidden and re-organise your CD collection while wearing peejays and Tote socks. I just drove 180 miles in a people-carrier full of barfing kids and smelly labradors and I wish I was at home cleaning the fluff out from behind the fridge right now....

Enjoy the next 5 hours - better to burn out than fade away, you wild child you.

procrastination is my middle name... even right now I should be packing for tomorrow, when I'm going away.. but I can't find a bag for my clothes and I just can't be bothered to look... I'm one of the laziest people I know..

What is a retainer? Is it something to do with teeth?

After you get braces you must wear a retainer during the nights and so forth to stop your teeth from going askew.

At least thats the meaning I attach to my retainer. Oh how I loathe that device.

I always procrastinate. I put off doing my music homework for a week and so had to do it just there at midnight when I should be sleeping. :(

Heh, so that's what Cameron Fry was talking about. I've always wondered.

"Hey, remember how mad he got when I broke my retainer? That was just a little piece of plastic. This is a Ferrari."

I have a top and bottom retainer. Managed to lose both. Go me! I found my train ticket. Involved me rummaging around our wheelie bin at 1am. I smell like crap. I have a pile of train tickets about an inch high from going to college and work from where I live. I think I went through them about ten times in the hopes that I'd find my ticket in them. £81.15 worth of short train journeys in front of me and £22.40 worth of London ticket.

It was the line in the film Parenthood that always puzzled me when the kid lost his retainer...

Why are we all expected to know what a retainer is anyway? They really aren't very common... I assume that they expensive to replace though...

I'm on the NHS so my braces + dental care were free. I'm not sure if I'll have to pay for a second retainer though.

Me too... if you substitute the word 'procrastinating' with 'drinking'

Procrastinating and drinking are not mutually exclusive you know :p
