Could you post the blind levels? Or indeed even the starting the blinds. Its a little irrelevent to simply post 'starting chips' 4000. It means nothing.

I think we need more detail than this. Can you post the increments the blinds rise in?
It's important when you want to figure out if a tournament is a crapshoot or not, or if it offer some value.

Before any smart ass decides to comment on how ironic it is to be talking about something being irrelevent....and at the end to pointlessly add in the sentence 'It means nothing'....I have already noticed.:(

i've played with this crowd a few times, (rebuy tourneys only), tournaments are run well but unfortunately due to pub closing hours the blinds shoot up late on in the tournamant. Plenty of fish there though so tends to be quite handy to get to the final table but only decent money goes to top 3 finishers and as the blinds are so steep at the end it turns into a crap shoot. the rebuys are quite enjoyable as its a cheap nights entertainment and you wil generally get your money back on the final table by way of a voucher of cash.

Padser below is the blinds structure from the FREEZE OUT in Dalymount Bar

    25 minutes 25-50
    25 minutes 50-100
    25 minutes 100-200
    25 minutes 200-400

    BREAK - Sandwiches "10 minutes"

    20 minutes 300-600
    20 minutes 400-800
    20 minutes 500-1000
    20 minutes 1000-2000
    20 minutes 2000-4000
    20 minutes 3000-6000

We have never had to finish a night where the person with most chips wins and sometimes "depending on number of players" the time frame on the blinds may be adjusted

    Thanks

I play at these torneys every now and again, I know the lads that run it and they are legit as far as i can see.

For the Freeze Outs its €40 + €10 reg

The reg is the rake and the €40 goes to prize fund. Simple as you can count the players and you know the prize fund. No gaurnteed prize fund as it is subject to numbers.

The last torney in Dalymount went on past 12.00 and after 10 mins - 15 mins of heads up a deal was done. The blinds do get high but there are very view tourneys that dont have a crap shoot at some stage in the night as chip stacks start to dwindle....
