leering/checking out

ok so girls and boys both check eachother out on the sly some times.

guys are better known for it - when a cute chick walks by we can usually be caught checking the 3 essentials - face, rack and then a quick glance back to examine the ass once shes walked by. this is as much to do with mens lack of discretion and tact as anything else

I (and most blokes) dont do this out of intentional perversion, it happens totally spontaneously without consciously thinking about it.

Other times i spy a hot mama walking my way and an uncontrolable smile creeps across my face - this is sometimes returned and sometimes met with a "WTF you lookin' at boy" frown.

imo sometimes checking someone out is acceptable and sometimes not. so girls i guess my question is, when does a cheeky flattering glance become a scary unwelcome leer?

is it when the guy checking you out is ugly? is it when he is working on a building site? is it the way its done? or is it when your just not in the mood?

One thing I've noticed is that women do it more. Hard to believe I know but most of my mates that are girls never shut up pointing out hot guys. They're like a bunch of perverts. In fact yesterday I saw a bunch of girls behind some lad walking down grafton street pretending to grab his arse right be hind his back. The guy was clueless. It looked very funny.

There's a stretch of road between my house and the luas and I have never once walked it without having a horn beeped at me or someone i dont know shout something. It's not like I ask for it... maybe they're all just scumbags where I live or something

I think it's only to be expected that guys will check girls out and vice versa. Also some girls are very unsubtle about it, as someone said earlier, but most probably just keep it to themselves.

I think it's ok, so long as it's not really long and gets into leering. I mean then it's just creepy and uncomfortable, so keep it short. It can be a nice compliment sometimes to see that a guy thinks you're good looking.

As far as beeping the horn of the car/slowing down to get a better look goes, please try and avoid it guys, cuz I have had this happen to me and I always either jump about a mile at the sound of the horn or am totally weirded out.

It's also not good if the girl is way younger than you. Don't turn into a perv!
