I have found recently that more and more petrol stations no longer have any super plus (98 octane) unleaded! Has anyone else found this? Can anyone tell me any stations in Dublin that still have Super Plus?

Sorry guys I just noticed that this thread is covered already!

Seems you can't get it in ROI anymore which really sucks. Is it true that Texaco in Ringsend has it?

Shell on the Malahide Rd., beside Clare Hall has it! And it's only about 6/7 cent more per litre than 95 Octane!

Not in Dublin- but Texaco in Ashbourne still has it.

Thanks - I will try Shell near Clare Hall. Hopefully it is 98 and not 95 in a 98 tank as Kluivert suggests!

Does 98 really imrove economy over 95 (if engine is designed for 98)?

Yep... Burns at a higher temperature so I think it uses slightly less due partly, to this.
