    Hi,
I use Outlook Express on XP pro, over the last few days I've found I cannot send attachments eg photos and the like.

    Haven't changed anything AFAIK.

Tried turning off MS firewall and the mail outgoing scan on Norton but no better.

    Any help welcome.

    Thanks alot JD!!!!

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Subject 'Fw: YYY', Account: 'in.telenet.be', Server: 'uit.telenet.be', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 Error: timeout exceeded', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

And what happens if u have norton enabled? I'm suspecting norton might be culprit here.

Uninstall Norton and see what happens. Use the Norton uninstaller to ensure a clean unistall. Download it here
