6630 memory problem

I got a 6630 for my bro a while ago and he went mad installing stuff on it

now when he tries to turn on the fone, it says "memory full please delete some data" he presses ok and then the fone says " insufficent memory - startup failed"

sort of a vicious circle - he has to delete stuff, but there is not enough memory to let him do it.

    Any help out there:confused:

    Cheers

    Mik

Wouldn't be 100% positive but the firmware might need to be upgraded, bring it to a repair centre and they should be able to sort it!

I was thinking that that is the only option all right.

Just didn't want to loose all data from fone

    try *#7370#

You can do a hard reset of the phone or otherwise search for the large file blocking the memory I had a similar error and it was an Mp3 file lodged somewhere the above should clear the phone if not upgrade the Firmware

    Cheers woody.

    I'll try that *#7370# code.

but how do you suggest looking for this file if I can't switch on the fone?

if you can install fexplorer google it, then you can go through all folders and see the contents

    I have fexplorer installed,

But I cannot start the fone to run it!!

I think my only option is to get it flashed in a repair centre

Press keys 3,* and dial(green) then power on the phone. Keep the keys pressed until you see hands animation.

try putting the card in a card reader and deleting stuff it might work

I think the issue is in the phone memory hence it wont boot, I had it before and did a hard reset and restored it back to factory settings if not a service centre is the answer
