    10/100M Amber and flashy
    DSL Green
    PPP Amber and very flashy

I have a full day off today and Im going through this thing to see if Im just stupid or if this isnt a great modem + did anyone else have problem port forwarding with this device, even after following the instructions

The lights indicate that your modem is working properly.
The DSL light will flash when it is syncing with the exchange, then the PPP light will come on after the modem logs on to the broadband and you are ready to go.

I know what they mean and all dude Im just wondering if there the right color.
Usually amber flashing indicates a small problem, unless its the 10/100 light

They can only flash one color except PPP which flashes green/orange if its not logging on.

Can you clarify what you mean by "a deathtrap with lag".

I have the Prestige 600, as I'm sure do most BT Broadband subscibers.

    Thanks,

    Moonstomp.
