Thoughts on my new PC?

    Its been about 2 and a half years since I got my last pc and its underspec when it comes to playing new games like FEAR and Q4...hell it even had issues with HL2

    So I've been planning on splashing out on a new machine
    spec is:

    * MSI K8N SLI-F, nForce4 SLI, Socket-939SATA,GbLAN,ATX,Raid,Dual-DDR,PCI-Ex16
    * AMD Athlon 64 3700+ 2.2GHz Socket 939,1MB, BOXED w/fan
    * Logitech diNovo Media Desktop, 2.0
    * Sapphire Radeon X850XT 256MB GDDR3PCI-Express,ViVO,Dual DVI-I, Full-Retail

    On the list their is a Creative Inspire T3030 but thats for my gf's PC :)

    The kit is a little over budget (budget is 2000e), anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on anything especially the graphics card.

    If your buying an SLI board go for a nvidia card just makes sense if you want to upgrade to SLI later on

    also maybe wouldn't do any harm to juice up that PSU alittle...make sure theres always power enough..espescially for sli...I ordered a seasonic s12 600w...apparently very stable and quiet..tho it may only push you further over your price limit

    Try find someone with that same mobo and see how loud the NB fan is. After buying my new rig, I was very dissapointed with the noise from mine. I'd have to reccomend one of the Sata drives with the 16Mb cache, they seem to be real performers and aren't much more expensive.
