Anyone used one of the x-arcade 2 player joysticks? Would it be much better getting 2 x one player ones? (more expensive)

Anyone used anything else that they thought accurately reproduced the arcade experience?

It'll mostly be used for 2 player fun. Absolute max I'd be willing to pay is 200 euro, but obviously the lower the amount the better. Decent microswitch arcade style joysticks used to cost a tenner back when I was a lad </old guy>.

    Hello,
We supply the X-Arcade joysticks and accessories in the UK and are Authorized Resellers. www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk The 2 player is currently £99.99 including PC Kit, Free USB Adapter and Midway CDROM with 6 classic games including Gauntlet and Defender. Shipping to N.Ireland is £18.50 and Republic £25.00 These are great joysticks and do definitely recreate the Arcade experience. Also, backed by a Lifetime Warranty.

Hahaha. Dude, I asked you earlier how much postage was. How the hell did you find this post?

You're pretty pricey compared to the dollar price (roughly 1:1.5).

Just updating on this: I bought the 2 player one from the guy in the 2nd post. There was a speed bump on payment because of paypal, but he was very reasonable about it, so thumbs up there.

Also, the cost difference was removed when factoring in shipping from the x-arcade site, so I decided to go with the UK reseller.

Can't wait to play some games on it. The joystick's look quality, can be analogue or digital, there are pinball style buttons on the side, lifetime warranty, etc. etc.

Just wait 'til you get it running under MAME (so easy to, as well) and a few choice ROMs :)

...bye bye GeForce 9000 GTX turbos or ATI Gideon 999 ProSuperDuper :D

    With Kind Regards from a well-meaning X-Arcade (2-player) user
