This may be in the wrong forum but I wish to travel to Oz to work in IT, I will have 18 months expernice when I do intend to travel. I was wondering what type of Visa I should get? I intend to spend between a year and two years there. I know you can get a skilled workers visa but I dont have the expernice to get that visa. Does the working holiday visa only allow you to stay in 1 job for 3 months at a time? I would not mind this but I would say it is hard to get a IT role for 3 months. Has anybody else been im my position and how did they get on? Also I went to the RDS yesterday to the workingdownunder expo but could not get in because it was too full....doh!

Pop into USIT and they will give you all the Info you need.
IT workers can get special visas AFAIK depending on experience

Try the Working Holiday Visa. Often if an employer or agency likes you they will apply for a longer term visa on your behalf (as long as you continue to work for them). Bear in mind that once you move from one visa to another the original is extinguished.
